What we do

Supports built around each person

Everything we offer is shaped by the goals, routines and preferences of the people we support, never the other way around.

Why MY DSP

Why families and coordinators choose us

In short: MY DSP is a registered NDIS provider that families and support coordinators choose for three reasons. We respond within one business day, we run small homes with high staff ratios, and we treat the people we support like family. Here is what that means in practice.

  • We respond within one business day

Every enquiry gets a real reply from a real person, quickly. Coordinators tell us responsiveness is the difference, so we make it a promise.

  • Small homes, high staff ratios

Our homes are deliberately small with strong staffing, so support is consistent, calm and built around the people who live there.

  • Experienced, culturally diverse team

Our support workers are vetted, experienced and reflect the communities we serve, so people feel understood, not just managed.

  • Confident with complex needs

We support people with complex and high support needs that other providers turn away, with the training and patience it takes to do it well.

  • Registered and accountable

As a registered NDIS provider we work to the NDIS Practice Standards and are independently audited, accountability you can check.

  • Families and coordinators kept close

Clear, honest communication throughout. You are never left wondering how the person you care about is doing.

How it works

Enquiring is simple and pressure-free

Three calm steps, no jargon, no obligation, and a real person to talk to at every stage.

  1. 1

    Tell us about the person

Share a little about the participant, their goals and the support they’re looking for. A quick call or the form is all it takes.

  2. 2

Visit and get to know us

Come and see a home, meet the team and ask anything. We’ll talk honestly about whether we’re the right fit.

  3. 3

    Settle in, supported

We build a support plan around the person and stay in close contact with family and coordinators throughout.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the questions families and support coordinators ask us most.

What is the NDIS?

The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) is Australia’s national scheme that funds supports for people with permanent and significant disability. Funding is provided through an individual NDIS plan, which can pay for supports like Supported Independent Living, community participation and support coordination.

Is MY DSP a registered NDIS provider?

Yes. MY DSP is a registered NDIS provider delivering Supported Independent Living and community supports across South-East Melbourne. Being registered means we work to the NDIS Practice Standards and are independently audited.

What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is help with everyday tasks in your home, funded through the NDIS, so you can live as independently as possible. At MY DSP it means a calm, well-run home with consistent, person-centred support day and night.

Do you have any SIL vacancies right now?

Vacancies change regularly, so the quickest way to find out is to call (03) 5998 5759 or make an enquiry. We will tell you honestly what is currently available and whether it is a good match for the person you are enquiring for.

Which areas do you serve?

We support people across South-East Melbourne, including Dandenong, Cranbourne, Clyde North, Pakenham and Frankston, and across Gippsland around Traralgon and the Latrobe Valley.

Do you support people with complex or high support needs?

Yes. Our team is experienced in supporting people with complex and high support needs, with small homes and high staff ratios so support is consistent and unhurried. Talk to us about the person’s needs and we will be honest about whether we are the right fit.

How do I refer a participant or make an enquiry?

You can call (03) 5998 5759 or use the enquiry form on this page. Both families and support coordinators are welcome to get in touch, and a real person responds to every enquiry within one business day.

How much does support cost?

Your supports are funded through your NDIS plan, so there are no out-of-pocket prices to quote. We are happy to talk through how the supports you need are funded under your plan, with no pressure and no obligation.

Can families and support coordinators stay involved?

Yes, always. We keep families, nominees and support coordinators closely in the loop, because the people who know a participant best are part of the team, not on the outside of it.
