What is daily living support?
Daily living support is hands-on, respectful help with everyday tasks, personal care, cooking, household routines and health, provided wherever a person lives. It is funded through the NDIS, and the goal is always to build a person’s own skills and independence, not to take over.

What is daily living support?
Daily living support is hands-on, respectful help with everyday tasks, personal care, cooking, household routines and health, provided in a way that builds a person’s own skills and independence.
How is it different from Supported Independent Living?
Daily living support can be provided wherever someone lives, including in the family home. Supported Independent Living (SIL) is specifically support within a SIL home. Many people receive elements of both.
Is daily living support funded by the NDIS?
Yes, daily living supports are commonly funded in an NDIS plan. We can help you understand how it fits within your plan.
